Meet the people behind the Assassin

The picture above shows Darren and Holly, the heads behind the Assassin moth.

You realize immediately that this boat has been built by a sailor who has had experience with moths before. Darren has been building boats for more than 20years and has sold moths for 2 years, so he knows where the week spots are and how to solve them. When you look at the boat you are amazed how ingenious many of the details are. Darren has fixed all the minor issues that have bugged me on my old boat all the time.

In addition to his experience Darren got help from Nick Holroyd, the technical director for the Emirates Team New Zealand Americas Cup campaign. Together they have designed the new foils for the Assassin.

It is suitable for all sailors, the ideal weight range is 50-100kg. If your over 100kg we can custom build a tougher boat to suit.

A lot of olympic and top level sailors are opting to sail the hydrofoiling moth along side their other commitments, for the sheer joy it brings and keeping a high level of fitness.
